Typical Dissertation Structure – A typical dissertation follows a standard structure which may or may not have the following sections. These may or may not apply to your dissertation and the elements below are provided not for you to follow slavishly, but as an example of the kind of things which are usually included in typical dissertations.
Section 1
Front Cover: this must bear the title of the project and your name.
Title Page: this must include title of project, your name and the programme name. (See Appendix B)
Dissertation/project declaration (see Appendix C).
Abstract summarising the whole work in no more than 300 words.
Acknowledgements.

Contents page.
Body of the report/dissertation arranged in suitable chapters. This should contain:
Introduction/Background to the project, (including an unambiguous statement of the research question/project problem, the project aim, and its breakdown into measurable objectives).
A literature review
Methodology
Steps taken (a description of the work that you carried out during the development of the project)
Findings
Analysis of results.
Conclusions and further work.
Critical evaluation of the project.
References and Bibliography.

Appendices: This section should contain information not suited for inclusion in the main text, for example
