You must not reference videos from this website, including the topic videos and any supporting videos shown in the weekly materials, because these are for teaching and illustrative purposes only.Remember to refer to the marking guide to see how the report will be marked, and what is important to include.Case study: Sarah (maximum word count = 800 words)Sarah is an experienced hiker who has a strong interest in the physiology underlying changes in the body resulting from exercise. In three months, Sarah is completing a 15km hike in France, where the average altitude is 4000m altitude in France. The hike is across varied terrain and includes a significant amount of elevation gain, despite this, Sarah would like to complete the hike as fast as possible. While Sarah understands that it takes some time to adapt to altitude, she is unsure when to leave for her trip. She currently resides at sea level in Adelaide.You are to prepare a report for Sarah, outlining the acute and chronic cardio-respiratory responses to altitude. Sarah is also concerned about the potential health risks and would appreciate you outlined the signs, symptoms, and associated risks to be aware of when exercising at altitude. Your report should finish with recommendations for Sarah, including when to travel to altitude, what type of exercise to perform when she arrives (duration, intensity, and frequency) and any other considerations you feel necessary.Note: As Sarah is an exercise science student, Sarah is very familiar with scientific terminology, and therefore your response MUST take this into account with the use of scientific terminology.
