Assume that you are a system analyst working for Tech Solutions Pty Ltd. Your company has secured an opportunity to investigate potential service requirements of a
large organisation, as outlined in the Case Study documentation. You will need to analyse the business domain, prepare a business proposal and present it to your client
in accordance with current organisational standards.

Develop a draft business proposal to cover new initiatives and opportunities for your client. Include the following information in your proposal:
1. ROLE PLAY: Conduct a meeting session with a client to present the drafted proposal of new opportunities, developed in assessment 1 Part A Task 7. The meeting needs to be conducted for 20 minutes. Your facilitator will play the role of client. You are required to take notes of the feedback provided by the CEOBTC. Clarify with the client about the area of uncertainty or disagreement with the client using open questions to elicit information. Refer to appendix A.
For more information refer to the “Role play checklist” provided at the end of this document.
2. Based on the feedback and outcome of the meeting with BTC-CEO, you are required to calculate the proposed cost and estimated timeframes of the new provisions to the client.
3. To negotiate the terms and conditions of your proposal, you are required to draft an email to with BTC – CEO, and attach your findings which includes, timeframes services cost estimates, final list of hardware/software, proposed amendments to current SLA with the client and record any alternations if required.
4. Redraft the proposal in clear, concise and comprehensive manner including all the negotiation terms and alternations and new services proposed by the CEO of BTC in the previous meeting.
5. Present your redrafted proposal (Task 5) in a 15 minutes PowerPoint presentation assuming your facilitator (client). At the end of your presentation, encourage your “clients” to ask questions or clarify if there are doubts. Refer to the presentation checklist to see what is required in the PowerPoint presentation.
Part B: Monitor, adjust and implement procedures to maintain client focus
1. Design a survey form to assess the progress in achieving new client initiatives.
2. You are required to now Email the survey links to the stakeholders of BTC requesting for feedback on new proposal you drafted in item 4, Part A, Assessment 2. Include the completed survey links in your final submission including responses from stakeholders.
