- Contemporary policies and approaches to vocational learning and assessment
- Content and requirements of the relevant delivery and assessment strategies
- Design and management of learning objects and content as well as the content of learning resources
- and learning materials.
- Different learning styles, and how to encourage learners.
- Learning strategies, teaching and assessment methods. Research relating to pedagogical theory and practice, learner interests and changing learning styles,
- and the application of information and communications technology (ICT) to learning and teaching
- Training techniques that enhance learning and when to use them.

- This is an individual assessment and all answers must be provided in your own words.
- To ensure your responses are satisfactory, consult a range of learning resources and other information
- such as handouts, textbooks, learner resources, online articles and journals etc.
- To be successful in this assessment, you must provide reference for all research conducted and
- analysis made.
- A minimum word limit for each analysis (answer) is 200 words.

- 2. Explain the adult learning theories (at least 4) in your own words. Further, research and discuss the
- difference between andragogy and pedagogy.
- 3. Discuss the following contemporary policy and approaches to vocational learning and assessment:
- The emphasis of educational policy and practise has moved away from institutions and towards the
- earners or in other words the emphasis has shifted from teaching to learning.
- There is a greater emphasis on work and workplaces as important places of learning.
- 4. Explain each learning style and the strategies to encourage each type of learner in order to accommodate
- their learning style into regular teaching practice
